CAN I VIEW MY FILM BEFORE ORDERING?
Unfortunately the only way to tell what is on the film in most cases, is to run it through the telecine machine and do the transfer. There will always be a charge for the film transfer if the film can be mounted. We even have to charge for blank reels, as we don't know if there's something on it or not unless it's fully converted.
ARE YOU ABLE TO PROVIDE THE FILM ONTO A DVD?
We used to do film to DVD conversions before digital media was so popular. If you REALLY want a DVD, please contact us to discuss pricing. DVD is generally more expensive, as each DVD takes time to create, and can only hold a limited amount of film footage.
WHAT IS THE FINAL CONVERSION FEE FOR?
This is the charge to take all your film that we've run through the telecine conversion machine, edit out any major problems, clean up the edges and do minor color correction. It also includes the time we take to transfer your files to your supplied media, and verify it's integrity. Remember, this is a one time per order fee...regardless of the size of the transfer.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
We were one of the very first companies in Canada to convert film to DVD at a commercial level. We've been doing quality conversions since 2001.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO USING YOU OVER COSTCO FILM TRANSFER?
Well, we don't knock our competition! We will say that if you drop off at any of our 3 locations, your talking to someone involved in the company, and who can check on details at any time. When you contact us, you're talking to the people that are going to do your transfer. We're a small company, and have intentionally stayed that way, so we can provide you with exceptional film transfer services, with cutting edge technology.
DO YOU RETURN MY FILM?
YES! Your film is returned to you with the completed transfer!
HOW DO I PREP MY ORDER?
Simply number your reels from 1-XX with a post it note on each reel, or very prominent marker on the reel/box. Gather those along with any instructions AND your blank Hard Drive, Thumb Drive or USB stick with enough space to hold your final files. Put them in a box, with padding, and mail it to us, or take it to our drop off location in Montreal, Mississauga or Niagara Falls.
HOW LONG DO TRANSFERS TAKE?
If you send your order directly into our studio in Niagara Falls, your order generally takes 5-7 business days from reciept. If dropped of in Montreal or Mississauga, your job turn around is usually 3-5 Weeks, as we transfer orders between our drop off locations and studio securely, twice per month.
HOW DO I CHECK THE PROGRESS OF MY ORDER?
Send us an email or use our contact form for quickest results! We can't normally tell you immediately over the phone, as we have to check manually.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Email Transfer and Cash on pickup.
